Innova'sMost Unique Disc Release in Years
Do you believe? If so, it’s time to make contact with theInnova Star Alien, the saucer shaped multipurpose disc that’s great for a host of controlled, measured throws that stop precisely.
Theis like no other disc on the market. Its top resembles a Sonic, its rim is like a mid-range. It is surprisingly stable, maybe even a tad overstable. The Alien thrives in a universe of spin putts, approach shots, and short-range drives.
This disc is so unearthly unique, it doesn’t fit into one of our standard disc categories. We’ve resurrected the designation “Multi Purpose” to capture the versatility of the mold. The Alien has become one of our top recommendations for a one-disc round.
For players transitioning from other disc sports, the wider diameter and saucer-style top will feel super comfortable in the hand. Using the Alien feels like playing catch, but the disc can handle torque, wind, and power better than any catch disc ever could.

How it flies:With a flat release in fair conditions, the Alien flies straight 200-300 feet (depending on arm speed), and then torpedoes down - its signature move. Once its flight ends, it practically falls off the table.
Because of its low carry, Innova Co-Founder and Disc Inventor Dave Dunipace says the Alien is ideal for “Ranging,” meaning it does a better job landing where you aim.
